Ms. Huang Ke is a young scholar in disability studies and rehabilitation. Her education background covered English literature (B.A.), management (MBA) and rehabilitation (Ph.D). Her current research focuses on ICF development and application in different areas, such as disability census and survey, eligibility criteria and measurement of disability, disability assessment and evaluation, and CBR. Ms. Huang Ke has better understanding and awareness of international policies and standards of disability and rehabilitation, such as CRPD and ICF. She is a member of WHO-FIC (World Health Organization Family of International Classifications) Collaborating Center in China, and the member of WHO-FIC ITC (Informatics and Terminology Committee) and CSAC-ICF (Classification of Statistics Advisory Committee-ICF), and voting member of EIC (Education and Implementation Committee) of WHO-FIC. She is also a standing member of education committee of China Association of Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons (CARD), Secretary General of Disability Classification Research Committee of CARD. She has rich experiences of international and national projects of disability and rehabilitation as project coordinator, participant or implementation professional at field. She has participated in a national project of ICF platform and implementation in disability and rehabilitation in China, and also has participated in UNESCO/UNDP research project on Innovations to Track Progress for Persons with Disabilities Inclusive SDGs Monitoring in Qinghai province in Support of SDGs Monitoring for China, and national research project on Rehabilitation tailored to functioning and unmet needs of PWDs, and national research project on approach to promote the participation of dwelling based rehabilitation and physical activity for the people with severe disability. From 2015-2018, she was participating in a national CBR project using ICF. This platform has been widely used in rehabilitation management and outcome evaluation nationwide for rehabilitation professionals.
