Mr Ying Man Law, Angus

Angus received his Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PoyU), Master of Philosophy degree (in Health Services Research) from the University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom and Master of Physiotherapy degree (Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy) from the University of Melbourne in Australia. He completed the Diploma of Advances in Medicine at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Royal College Advanced Certificate in Clinical Education at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in the UK.
He is a Clinical Associate in Physiotherapy teaching physiotherapy programmes PolyU. He was the Clinical Coordinator for the Master in Physical Therapy (China) and Master of Physiotherapy programmes of PolyU who managed clinical education within the mainland China and in Hong Kong. He was the Team Leader and Physiotherapist 1 of the Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation for the Community-Based Rehabilitation Resources Centre for Earthquake Zones in Sichuan after the Wenchuan earthquake occurred in the mainland China.
Angus is an International Committee Member and International Senior Classifier for Wheelchair Fencing for the International Wheelchair and Amputee Sports Federation. He was an Official International Classifier for Wheelchair Fencing in international sports events including the Para-Asian Games in Korea in 2014 and in Indonesia in 2018. He was the Chief Classifier for the Wheelchair Fencing World Championships in 2012 and a Wheelchair Fencing World Cup in 2014. He is also a Member of Volunteer Medical Team of Hong Kong Paralympic Committee and Sports Association for the Physically Disabled.
He is a Committee Member of the Disaster Rehabilitation Committee of the International Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine, Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health and a Member of the Society for Rehabilitation Research in the UK. He is also a Member of the Australian College of Physiotherapists and an APA Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist of the Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Australia of the Australian Physiotherapy Association in Australia. He is a Visiting Professor of Xi’an Jiaotong University affiliated Xi’an Honghui Hospital and Ning Xia People’s Hospital, Honorary President of the Society for Sport Medicine of Hainan Province and Academic Consultant of the Yunnan Association of National and Folk Medicine of Yunnan Province, and Rehabilitation Consultant for the Sichuan Mianzhu Green Red Social Work Services Centre in the mainland China, and Honorary Advisor for Rehab Express Magazine in Hong Kong.
He was awarded with the Investigator Award by the European Stroke Research Foundation in Athen and won a Bronze Award in the Learning Technologies Awards (in the Best use of mobile learning category) in London.
