Mr. IP Wing Keung, Benson is the Founder of Eden Group (HK), Eden Elder Care Specialists Limited and Chief Consultant (Eldercare and Rehabilitation Service) Mr IP is a Registered Occupational Therapist (Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand), with MA Guidance & Counselling (University of Durham, England), BSc(Hon) Psychology ( Liverpool JM University, England) and PD Occupational Therapy (Hong Kong Polytechnic University) Mr. IP is devoted to and passionate about the caring services for elders and designing specified elderly care services model. With years of related working experiences, Mr. IP is experienced in elderly care management and community-based rehabilitation for people living with disability. Mr. IP has gained extensive overseas learning experiences in England, Australia, Japan and Singapore in different elderly care managing models and services development. In 2008, Mr. IP started the pioneer model of combining the concept of active rehabilitation in eldercare service in Hong Kong and established the first self-financing home for the aged and a day rehabilitation & care center for the Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation. The service quality of the elderly home and the center is well-recognized by the service users and their families and is also reputable among the aged care profession. To bring in new service vision, Mr. IP introduced the ‘Person-Directed Care Model’ from the Eden Alternative from the United States, established the first pioneer elderly home specialized for people living with dementia in 2014. Mr. IP becomes the first Certified Eden Associate in Hong Kong in 2018. He is enthusiastic in promoting the new elderly care service model and supporting related education within Hong Kong. As a lecturer in University, Mr. IP has experiences in clinical supervision and the community health education for people living with chronic disease. He is also knowledgeable and expertise in providing elderly care and community–based rehabilitation professional training.
