Mrs. Sheila Purves

Sheila Purves (贝维斯) was previously Director of International & China Division, The Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation, (1988 – 2013), and is now their advisor. She is a Canadian citizen, with a degree in Rehabilitation Sciences (Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy) from the University of British Columbia (1979), and a Masters of Public Health (1996) from Boston University. In 2011, Sheila received a Doctor of Social Science (honoris causa) from Hong Kong Education University. She is honorary advisor, professor and lecturer to many hospitals and medical universities in different parts of China and she has undertaken consulting assignments for many international organizations.
